Spirit Wear Every Friday has been designated as school spirit day. Show your true Grayson colors by wearing your Grayson spirit wear shirts. Don't have any spirit wear? Just wear green and gold and let's show how much spirit our Grayson students have! Want some spirit wear? Click here for a spirit wear order form. Print the form, fill it out and return with payment to your child's teacher. Merchandise will be delivered to your child's class. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Dee Marney at themarney4@comcast.net. Science Special The science room is a busy place. It is a special like music, art , P.E. and successmaker. Feel free to come in and visit. Currently science is collecting small to medium- sized jars with lids. Plastic types are best if they travel to school on the bus. Peanutbutter jars are excellent. The science room does have a Treasure Box and the student love having new items in the Treasure Box. Please send in individually wrapped candies, erasers, stickers, small toys, individually wrapped snacks etc. for the Treasure Box. All the gerbils were adopted and we are "out" of gerbils. The waiting list is housed in the science room. Enjoy your fall! Clinic News * Children should remain home until fever and/or vomit-free for 24 hours WITHOUT medication. * Over the counter and prescription medication can not be transported on the bus. Special circumstances do exist, please see/call the clinic. * Please return any borrowed clothes to the clinic. The clinic is excepting donations of gently used sweat/jogging pants, size Youth8-16. Skate Night for October was awesome! Congratulations to Mrs. Rials 2nd grade for winning "Best Attendance". This is Mrs. Rials second win.
The next skate night is Nov. 5th. This will be the last time to purchase
your gray "Zoom" skate night T-shirt. This shirt will be sold for a special price of $8.00 only at skate night. Also the green "Zoom shirts
have arrived and will be at skate night as well.So don't delay get yours today by cutting out the order form below and bringing it to skate night

Robin Carraway has been a first grade teacher at Grayson Elementary for six years. She is a dedicated professional who loves to continue
learning and never tires of fostering a learning atmosphere in her classroom. Her classroom is full of new and creative teaching strategies as

Campbell's Soup & Tyson Chicken Thank you to the families for sending in your labels! Great news! Jada Edwards has volunteered to help with the Campbell's Soup and Tyson Chicken Label programs for Grayson Elementary. Keep saving both labels and send them in with your student. Every label counts! Here's a great easy tip from Jada for all our Grayson families! Thank you Jada! After signing up, anytime they purchase Campbell's or Pepperidge Farm products,etc. at Kroger, bonus points will go directly to Grayson Elementary!! They also get 100 points just for signing up! 1st ever Gymnastics Unit was a Success!
I would like to send a very special THANK YOU to all of the "Parents" who volunteered during our 1st ever Gymnastics Unit here at Grayson ES.
A huge THANK YOU goes out to: Howard Ethridge (Che), Rebecca Parrott (Natalie, Emily), Heidi Messer ( Rebecca, Emilae, Keeghan), Kristi Rhine
(Sidney Lyn), Michelle Thornton (DeJanae), Evie Harris (Anna Brooke), Joshua Dickerson (Gavin)and Brandi Goodbar (Kolton). Without these volunteers
that helped out with our Kindergarten, our little ones would not have had the opportunity to take part in this awesome unit. This unit was a success
to your dedication to GES and would not have been possible without your support. THANK YOU AGAIN and AGAIN!
